Haley Eagen- Head Trainer & Professional Rider
Haley is a New Hampshire native; she grew up riding and showing throughout New England from the pony rings to the junior equitation and USET divisions. She began catch riding from an early age, but her passion for working with horses and competing has only grown over the years.
Haley is an alumna of Cazenovia College, where she competed on the Varsity Hunter Seat IHSA team all four years and served as captain for three years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Management with a Specialization in Equine Business Management. During her time as a student, Haley expanded her knowledge through working student opportunities with Candice King and local trainers in NY and New England.
Today, Haley has nearly a decade of professional experience working and competing up and down the East Coast as an FEI barn manager, rider, and instructor. She has managed, shown, and instructed at national and international venues including Angelstone Tournaments, Sonoma Horse Park, American Gold Cup, WEF, Tryon, New England Equitation Championships, and Saratoga. In addition to coaching, Haley is also accomplished in the saddle—bringing along green and young horses as well as showing up to the 1.20m jumper divisions.
In 2022, Eagan returned to her Southern NH roots where she lives with her husband, Matthew, and Corgi, Remi. She owns and operates Northern Bell Equestrian, LLC, a client-focused training and sales business. Her business model is tailored to each horse and rider—she travels to offer instruction, training programs, and professional rides that are customized to each partnership’s unique goals in the hunter, equitation, and/or jumper rings. Haley is an active trainer and rider in the hunter/jumper show industry where she still competes in various hunter and jumper divisions. She continues to train and clinic to further her skillset and values good sportsmanship and horsemanship, instilling those qualities in her teaching style.
